Georgian-Style Armchairs — Mahogany, c.1900 (Set of 4)

A well-made set of four Georgian-style armchairs in solid mahogany, dating from around 1900. The chairs feature elegant pierced splat backs, shaped arms, and generously proportioned drop-in seats, combining formal character with everyday practicality. Rich in tone and refined in silhouette, they work well as dining armchairs, desk chairs, or occasional seating. A classic set with warmth, presence, and strong decorative appeal.

The frames are in very good antique condition, solid and structurally sound. They have been cleaned and carefully polished, with the mahogany retaining a rich depth of colour and age-appropriate patina. There are minor surface marks and signs of wear consistent with age and use. The drop-in seats are in good order and the chairs are ready for use.
